Perpetual Adoration
Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration
St. John Church inaugurated Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration on April 7, 2002. This chapel of our church is the CHAPEL OF DIVINE MERCY. It is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for prayer and adoration. Volunteers spend one hour at a specific time each week so that at least one person may be present at all times before the blessed Sacrament exposed on the altar. Over 300 volunteers have now committed to this practice and we encourage more to register. Call Roger Beliveau at 635-1918 to enjoy this great privilege. The entrance door is located on the Lincoln Street Parking lot. The entrance door has a combination lock that provides assurance of safety during the night hours 9PM to 7 AM.

Children's Sunday Programs
Children's Liturgy of the Word
9:30 AM Mass
After the greeting and opening prayer, the Children (ages 4 through Grade 4 and others still young at heart) are invited to come forward. After a blessing by the priest they process together with their adult Lay Ministers of the Word to the downstairs church hall. There they celebrate the liturgy of the Word using identical scripture as the adult community but with a homily and song refrains geared for their age level. They return to the church proper for the offertory and Eucharist.

Adult Volunteers
Adults willing to volunteer for this ministry are welcome. A training program is available for all volunteers.
